For financial assistance with registration fees, Dick’s Sporting Goods has a program which can cover part or all of your registration fees. Information and an application can be found at https://everykidsports.org/every-kid-sports-pass/. If your application is accepted, you will be given a Visa debit card which can only be used for youth sports registration. Limited, partial scholarships are also available through the league if you do not qualify for Sports Matter.
If you would like to pay for your registration with cash or check, please email through the button below to get a link to do so. You will be required to purchase your Babe Ruth Membership Fee separately at ColoradoBabeRuth.org.
CENTENNIAL YOUTH BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL LEAGUE MISSION STATEMENT
The purpose for which Centennial Youth Baseball-Softball Association (CYBSA), a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, is organized: to develop and operate baseball and girls softball programs in affiliation with Babe Ruth League Inc., a New Jersey corporation, in conformity with and pursuant to the principles enunciated by said Babe Ruth League Inc. In conjunction with such purposes, the objective of CYBSA is, through the medium of a supervised, competitive baseball or softball program guided and governed by said Babe Ruth League Inc., to seek to implant in the youth of the community ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage, and reverence, so they may be finer, stronger, and happier youths who will grow to be good, clean, healthy adults.
Fall baseball registration should be opening on Monday, 14 July. We will be scheduling a six-week, eight-game regular season for all divisions, with a single-elimination tournament at the end. The tournament will be the 3rd and 4th of October, to avoid fall break, where many teams end up shorthanded, due to vacations. Teams will have two of their six weeks with a doubleheader.
Games will mostly be played on Saturdays at Dove Valley, with some (likely older) divisions playing on Friday nights. Games will begin the 22nd and 23rd of August, with practices beginning the week of the 11th of August.
The cost is planned to be $350 for the season, but there are still some things up in the air, which should be sorted out by the time registration opens, such as if or how much indoor space will be available to us, and what that cost will be. This could move the registration cost up to $50 in either direction, depending. But the goal is to keep it at $350 when it opens.
Practices will be one outdoor per team per week and at least one indoor per team, every other week. We will have indoor practices for teams weekly, if we can secure enough space. It will be one and a half to two practices per week, per team. Practice days and times will vary by team. Coaches will pick their practice days, times, and locations at the coaches meeting, the weekend prior to practices beginning.
To ensure we finish on time, we will probably not be able to make up any games which are rained out. In the past six fall seasons, we have only had two days ever fully rained out. But it could mean if a day is rained out, and your team is scheduled for a doubleheader that day, you could only get six regular season games.
Please review the important dates on the right side of the page to understand when these events are scheduled. Other important pages under “Program Info” answer 95% of family questions. As always, you can reach out to the league for anything not covered there.
Babe Ruth Colorado has implemented a $5 annual membership fee for each player. This is in addition to any registration or other fees from the league. It goes directly to Babe Ruth Colorado and is not controlled by Centennial. This was implemented in lieu of team state charter fees. The card fees are passed along to the purchaser, so you will see an amount which will include a few cents extra, in addition to the $5.
This is an annual fee, which is good for any and all registrations by a player for all of 2025. If you play in multiple seasons, this fee will only be charged once, not for every season.
